Aussie IPL stars hit back at Ricky Ponting
Ex Australian Twenty-20 cricket captain Ricky Ponting will be watching his former side take on the Black Caps from couch in Australia on Friday, with plenty of his mind.
Ponting is said to be in conflict with some of his former teammates over Australia's involvement in next month's Indian Premier League.
Ponting is reported to want all 25 players to adopt a united front, and pull out of the tournament because of security concerns.
But, that has sparked an angry response from three of his former stars.
Matthew Hayden, Adam Gilchrist and Shane Warne stand to earn millions from their playing contracts and sponsorship deals in India, with Warne already pledging his support for the IPL, saying he is going regardless of any threat.
