Sri Lanka cricket team leaves for India

Nov 08, Colombo: Sri Lanka cricket team led by Kumar Sangakkara left for India Saturday night to participate in the upcoming tournament with the neighboring cricket giant.

The squad left the country around midnight Saturday after the religious activities held at the Sri Lanka Cricket headquarters.

Sri Lanka will play three Tests, five one-day internationals (ODIs) and two Twenty/20 matches in India. SLC has named three squads for the three tournaments.

The matches will commence on November 11th and end by December 27th.
