New Zealand cricket coach quits
The New Zealand cricket team is without a coach for the rest of this year, following the resignation of Andy Moles.A full-time replacement for Moles may not be found until after the home summer round.
Moles was forced to resign at the weekend and it is believed captain Daniel Vettori will act as coach for the team's next two series.
English-born Moles, who was contracted through to the 2011 World Cup, lasted less than a year in the job.
He resigned three days before he was to have taken the team to the United Arab Emirates for a series against Pakistan.
Vettori is preparing for the extra responsibility in the limited overs series against Pakistan, followed by a home Test series.
Moles' demise followed a wide-ranging review into the team's underperformance.
However, New Zealand's record has been patchy since then.
